Background:

During the pandemic, Palak and Surbhi Saxena Madhwani were working tirelessly from home, often putting in 16-hour days. It was during this time that they conceptualized the idea of “Digital Dukaan,” an initiative with its own fascinating backstory, which Palak promises to share separately.

The Opportunity:
Mr. Sameer Allawadi was looking for digital marketing services for his fertilizer brand during this time. After a brief conversation on WhatsApp, Palak scheduled a Zoom meeting for the presentation. In 2020, Palak and his team had immersed themselves in digital marketing, foreseeing its growing importance. They developed multiple marketing packages and made them available on their website, moving away from the conventional approach of sending proposals over email or WhatsApp.

The Pitch:

When Palak presented the digital marketing plans to Mr. Sameer Allawadi, he had modest expectations, thinking it was unlikely that Mr. Allawadi would select one of the packages. However, to his surprise, Mr. Allawadi chose the highest-priced plan during the very first Zoom meeting.

Client’s Reasoning:
Mr. Allawadi’s decision was influenced by his recent completion of a business course with Dr. Vivek Bindra from Bada Business Pvt. Ltd. He found that the services and deliverables he was seeking matched perfectly with the package offered. Additionally, he was already working with an agency but was looking to scale his efforts further.
